Our Story
Hear our story of God's faithfulness and work through His church over the past 50 years.
How It Began
Every church has a story, and ours is ultimately a story of God's faithfulness. Although much has changed over the years, our purpose has remained the same: to make Jesus Christ known through the faithful teaching of God's Word.
Our church first began when a small group of Christians shared a desire to see a gospel witness established in the local area. Trusting in God's provision, they gathered together to worship, pray, and encourage one another, laying foundations that continue to shape our church today.
[This is a good place to include when the church began, who was involved, and any significant events from the early years.]

For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.
Mark 10:45
Growing Together
As the years have passed, God has continued to build his church. Through seasons of joy and challenge, he has remained faithful, sustaining the congregation and enabling the gospel to be proclaimed to each new generation.
The church has changed in many ways over time. People have come and gone, leaders have changed, and different opportunities for ministry have arisen. Yet throughout every season, God's Word has remained at the heart of all that we do.
[This section could mention key milestones such as new ministries, changes of venue, church planting, partnerships, or memorable moments of God's provision.]

Today
Today we are a church made up of people of all ages and backgrounds who have one thing in common: we have found hope in Jesus Christ. Each week we gather to read the Bible, hear it faithfully taught, pray together, sing God's praises, and encourage one another as we seek to follow him.
We are grateful to serve the villages around Capernwray and warmly welcome anyone who would like to join us, whether you have been a Christian for many years or are simply curious to learn more about Jesus.

Our Future
While we are thankful for all that God has done in the past, our greatest hope is in what he will continue to do. We pray that he would keep us faithful to his Word, deepen our love for one another, and use our church to make the good news of Jesus known throughout our local communities.
We do not know what the future holds, but we know that God is faithful. Our prayer is that, for many years to come, people of every age would come to know Christ, grow as his disciples, and joyfully make him known to others.
